The Jim Basketball Jones program energized our Cubs! We're incredibly grateful to our PTA for bringing this uplifting experience to Bear Creek. Students and teachers alike had a blast, enjoying a well-deserved break filled with fun. Our staff, inspired by the program's spirit, even joined in with basketball-themed activities. A huge thank you to our PTA for their dedication to bringing such positive and encouraging programs to our entire school community!

Happy April Bear Creek Family!
We had the best time making everyone laugh at BCE for April Fools Day! Our joke was: teachers dress up like students and students dress up like teachers.
Our Cubs are the most creative! Thank you for engaging in the fun.

Fourth graders and their families gathered at the Creek for a night of learning and music. The evening began with a session of math and reading vocabulary bingo, where students and their families played together led by their teachers.
Following this activity, the students took to the stage to showcase their talents. With confidence, they handled instruments, microphones, and props. Dr. Cortesio led the performances, guiding the students through a beautiful performance.

We are grateful for our PTA. As Spring Break approaches, they have generously stocked the fridge and staff lounge with treats to boost our staff’s energy. Our teachers are working tirelessly to prepare students for upcoming spring assessments. Thank you, PTA, for taking the time to do something special for us. Your efforts are truly appreciated!

To kick off a week of literary fun for Read Across the Creek, Mrs. Brosi invited bestselling author Lyla Lee to Bear Creek! Lyla Lee inspired our 1st-4th grade Cubs to work hard, rely on friends and family, and believe in your dreams. Ask your Cub about the writing activity and how they are already writers!

The BCE Staff was treated this week! The Council of PTAs dropped off muffins on National Muffin Day for all the staff. The coffee cake muffins were delicious. On Friday, right before lunch, the BCE PTA delivered a Sonic drink for each member of the staff. We are so thankful for all the community support.
