Hello Bear Creek Elementary! My name is Jennifer Jackson and I will be your new art teacher! I have already been busy thinking of lots of fun and colorful projects for all of my new friends who I can’t wait to meet. Along with art, music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, so I tend to mend these two things together often. Kids, I might sing a little here and there, so consider this a warning! My goal in my classroom is to make art fun and accessible. I want each of you to realize that you are capable of creating things that you are proud of!
Something I am extremely proud of is my daughter Audrey. She graduated from GHS in 2022 and just completed her first year at the University of Arkansas. I will talk about her a lot because I think she’s an amazing human!
GCISD has been a part of my life in some way or another for over thirty years (wow!) and I am so happy to be teaching within my community. I am looking forward to the years ahead!

Hi Bear Creek Elementary! I’m Juli Doolittle and I’m STOKED to be joining the BCE family! I graduated from Kansas State University (Go Cats!) in December 2022 after student teaching in 4th grade. Hello BCES students and families! You have a wonderful community, and I am excited to be joining you! I can’t wait to meet each of you over the year and learn all about you. So, to start this off please let me introduce myself.
My name is Brittany Workman and I moved to Texas from Georgia last summer with my family and our zoo of pets. I was a practicing nurse for many years, but my passion had always been education. When the opportunity presented itself for me to become a teacher and allow me to continue to use my nursing experience, I knew I had found my niche. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In Georgia, I started my career as a special education paraprofessional. After moving to Texas, I taught first grade while I completed my Master’s degree in Special education. I know that I have found my calling. I am very grateful to you for inviting me to join the Bear Creek community and I am thrilled to join BCE and the amazing Special Education team!
On a more personal note, I am married to an Army Veteran and have two children. One will be a BCES Cub with me in second grade and my oldest will be in seventh grade. I can’t wait to meet all of you, and I am looking forward to a terrific school year!

Hello Bear Creek! My name is Kelly Harris and I am very excited to be a part of the Bear Creek family. While pursuing my degree in Elementary Education I was blessed to begin my journey at Bear Creek in 2019 as a Paraprofessional supporting students in math and reading. In the first semester of the 2022-2023 school year, I did my student teaching at Bear Creek learning from one of the very best educators Mrs. Joy Gibson in second grade. I graduated and immediately took a position as a Kindergarten teacher for the second semester at Timberline Elementary School. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and making amazing memories. I have a daughter that attends Bear Creek and an older daughter that will be a Junior at CHHS. I am grateful to be at Bear Creek and look forward to an unforgettable school year. GO CUBS!

Hello, Bear Creek Elementary! My name is Kristina Davis, and I am beyond excited to be joining the BCE family! A little about me, I have lived in Texas and in the HEB, GCISD area my whole life. I am a military wife and mother to 3 great kids ages 2, 9, and 15. We are a crazy family of 5 and there is never a dull moment. My free time right now is filled with football, baseball, and volleyball. Outside of sports, we try to be outdoors doing things as a family as much as possible. I have my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and am pursuing my master's in organizational management. I’ve known for years that I wanted to be in education and working with kids, showing them the joys and excitement of learning and helping them find their passion and confidence within themselves to grow and try new things. Before coming to BCES I was a YMCA and club volleyball coach. I also worked for BISD as an AVID tutor. From there I was a part of an online school, STRIDE K12 as a student support advisor and a student engagement specialist. Most recently though, I was a teacher assistant for PK at Bransford Elementary and loved every minute of it. Having my own classroom has been a longtime dream and I’m thrilled to be starting the journey here with Bear Creek. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!

Hey Cubs! My name is Jenna Brosette and I’ll be joining Bear Creek as your Student Learning/Reading Support Specialist. This will be my 8th year in GCISD and 16th year in education! I’ve served the district the past six years supporting early literacy and new hires, including co-leading the First Year Teacher Academy. My youngest son has dyslexia which has deepened my passion to close reading gaps for all kids. I believe that all children can and will succeed with support to do hard things, empathy, and research-based instruction!
