He works hard during lessons with no excuses. He always tries his best and is respectful to his teacher. When this cub saw a classmate was upset, he told him to take a deep breath to calm down. He was wonderfully kind and helpful. She is a positive role model to her classmates and works hard in class every day. This cub shows no excuses when working in centers. She tries hard to participate, even when her sister isn't here! Way to go for working hard on transitioning to PE. She comes in every day and is ready to work hard! Keep up the great work. He is always there to lend a helping hand to his friends. This cub has an awesome work ethic, especially in writing. He takes his time thinking and adds more details to his writing to make it better. We are so proud of him as a student and especially as a writer! He picked up a piece of trash in front of the door, even though it wasn't his. This shows great respect for the school. She exemplifies each of our Bear Creek Credo principles every single day! We are so proud of all the hard work she has put in this year! He is always on task, completes all of his work even when it is difficult, and owns up to any mistakes he makes. Kind, helpful, respectful, and a hard worker! When a student was out of the room during dismissal, this cub packed up all of her things and took them to her switch class for her without being asked. He is always an example of how to do the right thing. He is a good influence on his classmates. He has shown leadership in the past few weeks. He works quietly and does what is asked of him at all times. She shows the BCE credo on a daily basis! She is always participating in class and works hard to understand 3rd grade. This student has been working really hard, showing respect, and being kind to others! We are so proud of you! Being Kind When a student was struggling to make friends, these two girls jumped right in when introduced! They showed the Creek Credo by welcoming their new peer with a smile on their face and open arms as their new friend! Taking Initiative She dropped her water bottle in the hallway. She and her friend took the initiative to clean up the spill without asking the custodian for help. When a classmate’s water bottle spilled, she went and got paper towels and helped clean up the mess without asking the custodian to do it. Leadership and Responsibility On Tuesday, this cub saw something that did not follow the BCE Credo and found a teacher to help! Great job taking care of our school and being a great leader! When coming in from recess, he noticed that no one was holding the doors for the teachers who were walking through. He ran back to make sure every door was held for those teachers. Positive Attitude This student has been working so hard in both of his classes, follows expectations, and has a positive attitude!

Magic Makers Each week, we recognize staff members who go above and beyond to make our school an amazing place for everyone. The dedication and hard work of our team are what make Bear Creek a place where students can thrive. Magic Maker recipients are: Ms. Erickson A special shout-out to Ms. Erickson! Since becoming the 5th-grade team leader, she's shown incredible leadership. We're especially thankful for her dedication to coordinating the Sky Ranch field trip—she's doing a great job getting everything ready for the students. Ms. Connolly We'd like to extend a special thanks to **Ms. Remi** for her incredible leadership as our Pre-K team lead. She was instrumental in helping the team establish essential routines and procedures, especially as we finalized our hiring. Ms. Remi's dedication didn't go unnoticed; she consistently sacrificed her lunch and planning time and made no excuses to attend the Teacher Thursday meetings, all to ensure her team started the year in a positive environment. Her commitment and selflessness are truly commendable! Ms. Robinson We want to give a huge thank you to Ms. Robinson, our wonderful counselor! She has shown a "no excuses" attitude from the very beginning of the year, providing incredible support to families as they complete their Skyward forms. Her dedication and hard work have made a real difference. Ms. Robinson is also a source of great ideas that have helped make our school more organized. She came up with the brilliant idea of adding bear paws to the hallway floors to show students exactly where to line up for transitions. It's a simple idea that has made our hallways so much smoother and more organized. We truly appreciate everything she does for our school! We are so grateful for the hard work and passion our staff brings to Bear Creek every single day. Their efforts are a huge part of the magic that happens here.

A huge thank you to all the parents who took time out of their busy schedules to attend Curriculum Night. Your presence and engagement make a world of difference. Our teachers put so much effort into preparing the information you need to help your child have a successful year, and it was wonderful to see so many of you there. If you were unable to attend, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher. They would be more than happy to share their presentation slides and answer any questions you may have.

"A Special Moment with Officer Caldwell" Officer Caldwell noticed a Pre-K student having a tough day and gently asked if he’d like to hang out for a bit. The student eagerly said yes. Before long, almost the entire Pre-K class was gathered around, handing Officer Caldwell balls to throw and joining in the fun. It turned into a joyful, spontaneous playtime. A beautiful reminder of the impact kindness and connection can have, even in the smallest moments.
