Today’s book club lunch bunch discussion cards asked them: to identify which bad guy character they would be, relate to the characters about having friends different than you, analyze what it means to be good even though the characters are “bad” and give examples from the book.

We have the most awesome librarian at BCE. She started a new Book Club and we had a great turnout.
This week, they had their first meeting. Many 2nd graders had lunch in the library while they read Chapter 1 of The Bad Guys.

We had such a wonderful time celebrating World Kindness Day by focusing on friendship! Our students put so much heart into writing kind notes on the back of stickers and gifting them to members of the BCE community. 💌✨
It warmed our hearts to see the thoughtfulness and generosity flowing through our halls.
