"Here I am!! I am so eager to be a part of the pack!! As I dive head first into something new, what a rush of excitement it has been.
I was born and raised in East Texas and decided it was time for a new adventure, so I packed my bags and relocated to the DFW area. What a fun journey it has been so far. I am joining the ever growing and glowing ELA family.
My biggest pride and blessing of teaching is to help students develop a beautiful knowledge of their self worth. Every year I come out of that gate strong by reading them a book by Max Lucado called You Are Special."

"Hi, Wolves! My name is Avery Kimbrough and I am so excited to be joining the ELA team at CTMS this year. I have spent my summer at home by the pool with my husband (Cooper) and my tuxedo cat (Baker). I enjoy cooking with my family, farmer's markets, and watching movies! My favorite book of all time is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, mainly because the story resembles my family full of sisters. Also, you can almost always find me at a coffee shop with a book in hand. I can't wait to join the Wolf Pack and bring reading to life!"
Ms. Brewington will be joining our ELA team, and we are so excited about the enthusiasm she'll bring to our Pack!
"My name is Mary Peyton, but I prefer to be called MP 🙂 I studied secondary education at OSU in Stillwater, I’ll forever be a Stilly girl! I sure do miss it!
I have two cats, Oliver (3) and Cleo (4 months)! I’ve traveled to more than 4 countries and I love to do so! I plan to do that over my summer off next year. My favorite author is CS Lewis and my favorite book is Mere Christianity. Although if you asked me what my favorite fiction book is I’d tell you: LOTR, The Two Towers! I can’t wait to meet you!!! 🐺"
Marcus Green will be joining our ASPIRE team, and brings great GT experience with him.
"I'm Marcus Green! I have taught 11 years. I have a son who is starting kindergarten at OC Taylor this year and a daughter who turns two in September. (That's her in the picture.)
My wife is a GCISD alum and current teacher in Southlake Carroll ISD, but I graduated from Coppell ISD. That's also where I've been working for the last eight years. I am an identical twin. My brother is an Episcopal priest. I love to read. I read novels (both literary and fun), poetry, and Marvel Comics (I'm currently reading Spider-Man, and I'm somewhere in 2005.) I dream quite vividly and often, and in almost all of my dreams I am on vacation, camping, or visiting relatives."

"Hello Wolf Pack, I am Stephanie Maupin. I am starting my 17th year in education and 6th year in GCISD. As a former Bronco, I am excited to join the CTMS team and represent the Wolves! I will be teaching history and AVID. My husband, Michael and I have three daughters Madison (12), Skylar (9) and Peyton (4). In my free time, I love to read, watch my girls play sports, and spend time with my family."
We are so excited to welcome Sally Osborne to the Pack as our new Learning Liaison.
"I am so excited to be joining the pack! I am coming to CTMS from Heritage Elementary. I've been in GCISD for 10 years. I live in Hurst with my husband and our two boys. I love spending time outside, reading, and going on adventures with our boys when I'm not working."
