Should my child stay home?
Students must stay home from school due to illness if any of the following are present:
- fever of 100 degrees or higher in the past 24 hours
- unknown rash
- vomiting and/or diarrhea in the past 24 hours
- jaundice • itchy, red eyes with discharge
- ringworm of the scalp (until treatment has been started)
Spring Update
Nurse Update:
- For Kindergarten Round-up in order for your student to be enrolled that day.,
- He or She must have had their 4 year old vaccinations which include, DPT, Polio, MMRs, 2 Hep A vaccinations, and 2 Chickenpox (varicella) vaccinations.
- All students should have had 3 Hep B's that show on their records.
- Immunizations can be obtained from the Tarrant County Public Health Department at 536 West Randol Mill Road Arlington, TX 76011. Clinic phone number 817-321-4716.
- Before starting 6th grade a 2nd Hep A is required.
- After age 11 and before 7th grade immunizations that are due: TDap booster, Menactra and 2nd varicella. Please contact the nurses office with any questions.
