After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Education at Baylor University, I began my teaching career in Irving ISD. I began my teaching career working with Special Education students in grades kindergarten through third. After three years at the elementary level, I moved on to work as a Special Education teacher and coach at the middle school level. After teaching and coaching for eight years I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Administration from the School of Education at Lamar University. In the fall of 2022, I completed my doctorate degree from Dallas Baptist University.
My wife, Becca, is a 5th-grade science teacher in a nearby district and we have four awesome children. We have twin boys, Nathan and Jordan, that are in 8th grade this year, and twin 9-year-olds, Carson and Harper. When we aren’t at school we are busy with family, usually shuffling kids from one event to another.
I consider it a huge honor to serve as principal of Bear Creek Elementary. Bear Creek is a fabulous school, with excellent teachers, excellent parents, and plenty of amazingly awesome students!
